### Beatport Leadership Changes

After nine years as Beatport CEO, **Robb McDaniels** will transition to Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective July 1\. **Matt Gralen**, currently President & CFO, has been appointed **CEO,** and **Helen Sartory,** currently CRO.will elevate to President & Chief Operating Officer.

### Audiotool Music Tech Hackathon Series

From May 11 to July 6, **Audiotool** is inviting musicians and developers to build together — from idea to production-ready. Think music creation apps, DAW plugins, games and remix tools. ### Ticketmaster adds ChatGPT app

Ticketmaster has added a[ ChatGPT app](https://business.ticketmaster.com/ticketmaster-drives-a-new-era-of-ai-powered-event-discovery-with-app-in-chatgpt/?ref=hypebot.com) putting access to their tickets in a platform with 900 million weekly active users:

- **ChatGPT Apps:** Fans can now discover events and explore ticket options directly inside ChatGPT, without needing to leave the conversation. Once connected to the Ticketmaster app, fans can easily find events and compare seating options.
- **Paid Marketing Pilot:** OpenAI is testing sponsored ad placements in ChatGPT, creating new ways to provide value to users in their day-to-day

### **Single Expands Shopify App**

**Single** now integrates directly into an artist’s **Shopify** store allowing them to sell music, stream music, host live-streams, release exclusive content, and build fan memberships — all in one place.
