[MusixShare](http://www.musixshare.com/?ref=hypebot.com) is a brand-new startup that enables artists to pair up with social causes. When fans purchase music through the site, a portion of that sale goes to a designated cause or charity. As well, artists can come together to create digital cause compilations. This way, both artists and fans can collaborate to support timely and specific causes in need.

The first compellation through the site features several San Francisco Bay artists to support the [Berkeley-East Bay Humane](http://www.berkeleyhumane.org/?ref=hypebot.com) Society who are focused on rebuilding after a destructive fire earlier this year. “Still Standing” contains tracks from acts such as Luce, Maurice Tani, and Karmacoda; it can be purchased [here](http://www.musixshare.com/?ref=hypebot.com). The goal of new music cause startup is to "Make the world a better place through music."
