Neil Young's campaign to fund Pono, a higher quality music player and download store, has raised $4.2 million a week after launching on [Kickstarter](https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1003614822/ponomusic-where-your-soul-rediscovers-music?ref=hypebot.com). While the dollars are impressive, the jury is still out on whether Pono, which will play FLAC or ultra-high resolution recordings (192kHz/24 bit), is more than a niche audio player and service.
