# Nimbit Upgrade Drops Direct-To-Fan Commissions, Adds International

Nimibit, now owned by PreSonus, has released a  
major update to its direct-to-fan sales and promotion platform along with reduced transaction fees. Commissions have been reduced from 16.5% for all  
accounts to 10% for Nimbit Free and Plus accounts and 5% for Nimbit Premium  
accounts. The rates also apply for physical goods sales.

**More Updates & International Options**  

- A new **direct pay model**, where subscribers get paid directly, via PayPal, as  
they make sales.
- While users can still warehouse and ship CD's and T-Shirts from the Nimbit warehouse, there is now a **self-fulfilment option**, as well.

**Nimbit Goes International**

Nimbit subscribers can now set their storefronts to display in English,  
French, German, and Spanish, with more languages on the way. At launch, the following  
currencies are supported:

- Australian Dollar
- British Pound Sterling

and that starts with the ability to sell direct," commented Nimbit  
co-founder and president Phil Antoniades. "By adding local currencies and  
native languages to the Nimbit platform, we're giving more artists around the  
world a deeper connection to their fans."
