There’s
been a debate going on about the Internet Radio Fairness Act which will
reduce royalty payments to artists by more than 80% if enacted. Last
week, 125 artists came together to oppose Pandora’s subsidy in a press
release from [SoundExchange](http://www.soundexchange.com/?ref=hypebot.com). On [Music Think Tank](http://www.musicthinktank.com/blog/pandora-a-change-in-priorities.html?ref=hypebot.com), **Mark Doyon** joins the
debate and posts his opinions on the act. What are your thoughts on the
Internet Radio Fairness Act, royalties, and Pandora?

“Just
as the major labels have traditionally left crumbs to artists,
technology companies, many of whom are not even involved in the work of
creating music, are now trying to bleed artists by **undercutting royalties**.”
