**"That regular engagement of the**
**fan base is super important."**

**Jack Conte** of the indie pop duo **[Pomplamoose](http://s293116852.onlinehome.us/?ref=hypebot.com)** joined **Kevin Breuner** on CD Baby's **[DIY Musician Podcast](http://cdbabypodcast.com/?p=877&ref=hypebot.com)** to discuss how his group has used video to reach music fans around the world. Known most famously for their "video songs" in which the video imagery is an inside look into how the song is actually created, Pamplemoose’s videos have collectively been viewed over **10 million times** **on YouTube**. This is a **fascinating conversation** where Jack goes into great detail about the production end of their videos and tells how he and Natalie quit their jobs, rarely play live, and still sell enough songs to fund and follow their passions.
