With tens of millions of users, social networking sites
have become a destinations for music discovery. But they limit music
search to their own sites, are largely browser-dependent, and offer
limited listening and bookmarking options. Qbox eliminates these boundaries.

Now in beta, [Qbox](http://qbox.com/?ref=hypebot.com) indexes the music on MySpace, YouTube and Bebo and empowers users to search, organize, and listen to the entire catalog of music available through a single point of access.

Qbox is an integrated hybrid desktop/web application,…

, designed for user freedom and access to content from multiple social networks:

- Qbox’s Qplayer is an ultra-light download and unobtrusive desktop player that provides on-demand access to over 21 million songs from MySpace, YouTube, and Bebo – with more supported sites to come.
- Meanwhile, Qbox.com offers library and playlist management, and acts as a collaborative database of streaming music, continually edited and improved by users and artists.

Key features of Qbox’s service include:

- Seamless Playback — Users enjoy seamless, continuous listening as Qbox streams tracks from multiple social sites into a single playlist.
- Music Bookmarking and Online Management
- With the "Music Clipping" feature, users can easily "save" streaming links to their Qbox.com libraries, which are automatically organized by artist and album.
- Music Feed – Similar to Facebook’s extremely popular News Feed feature, the Music Feed allows users to follow their friends’ music listening patterns and discoveries.
