Rachel Whitney, formerly of YouTube, is joining Spotify as the Head of Editorial for Nashville.

Spotify now has two women heading its Nashville office – Head Of Artists & Lanell Services Brittany Schaffer and now Whitney.

In fact, more than 50% of Spotify’s Music team is comprised of employees who identify as female, including Dawn Ostroff (Chief Content Officer) and Marian Dicus (Co-Head of Music).
