As you can see in the chart after the jump from [Statista](https://www.statista.com/chart/2077/music-discovery/?ref=hypebot.com), that compares 27% who say they discover music on online music services.Music discovery is one of the largest ways music streaming services [have tried to differentiate](https://www.hypebot.com/is-spotify-any-better-than-top-40-radio-for-music-discovery-new-stats-suggest-not/) themselves. Spotify, for example, creates "Discover Weekly" and "Release Radar" playlists built from each user's listening habits.According Nielsen, the main reason love radio is because of the DJs – a feature streaming services would find difficult and expensive to replicate.
