Many of the manufacturers (who are equally passionate about music in this format) go the extra mile to release albums, EPs and 7″ singles that would otherwise never exist. The releases are often beautifully packaged and in many cases are pressed in unusual shapes and/or colors, and because they are strictly limited production runs, these albums are very exciting to “hunt down.” Many fans visit several stores on Record Store Day to search for the item(s) they want!**What was the first record you ever bought?**

You cannot “download” the opportunity to gather with like minded people who share your passion for music.
