Alternative Christmas releases are big business right now, so why shouldn't Skype get in on the action with **"Say It With Skype for Christmas."** They've flipped their original "Say it with Skype" promotion, involving such bands as Bowling for Soup, Imogen Heap and The Parlotones, and created a holiday version with **Alice Cooper, Boyz II Men, The Chakras** and others.

Paul Sawers [ties together](http://thenextweb.com/microsoft/2011/12/13/skype-partners-with-alice-cooper-and-more-to-offer-festive-video-greeting-cards/?ref=hypebot.com) the details of the new Skype campaign that [includes](http://blogs.skype.com/en/2011/12/spread%5Fholiday%5Fcheer%5Fwith%5Fsay.html??ref=hypebot.com):

> "Alice Cooper singing the classic 'Merry Christmas,' Boyz II Men's rendition of 'Silent Night,' the Cuban Brothers' comedic twist on 'Deck the Halls,' Scala's rendition of 'Sun Kissed Snow,' or your very own vocal contributions."

**Say "Happy Holidays" with Skype**

Using the [Say it with Skype Facebook App](https://apps.facebook.com/sayitwithskype/?ref=hypebot.com) you can say Happy Holidays with the [help of 6 acts](http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/features/allfeatures/group-video-calls/sayitwithskype/holidays?ref=hypebot.com#bands-anchor) that also includes Autumn in Disguise and the Kolacny Brothers.

The original [Happy Birthday option](http://blogs.skype.com/en/2011/11/say%5Fit%5Fwith%5Fskype.html?ref=hypebot.com) is still available.
