As **anyone who operates in this space knows**, tracking and monitoring conversations around your business, artists, and blog is a *constant* must. 

There are many tools out there, some good, some *not so much*. One site I have just become familiar with is called **[Social Mention](http://socialmention.com/?ref=hypebot.com)**; it is a social media search and analysis platform that aggregates user generated content from across the web into a single stream of information. Judging by a few preliminary searches, the site seems like an easy way to track and measure what people are saying about you or *anything* across the web's **social media landscape** in real-time. 

 At all times, **Social Mention monitors 100+ social media properties** directly including: Twitter, Facebook, FriendFeed, YouTube, Digg, Google etc. **How do you keep track of all the conversations happening around you?**
