SoundCloud Pulse was designed as the creator-focused companion to SoundCloud's existing official app.

Key features include:

- Reply to comments on tracks directly through the app
- Up-to-date stats on the performance of tracks
- Share sounds already uploaded, both publicly and privately
- Follow other users

I addition to an iOS version of the app, Soundcloud says they will be adding more in-depth stats, the ability to edit track information, expanded messaging capability and the ability to upload tracks.

**New Head Of Design**

Additionally, today Prarthana Johnson is joining SoundCloud as Head of Design. She joins SoundCloud from Microsoft, where she worked as a principal design manager, leading communication experiences on the Skype team.
