****[SoundHound](http://soundhound.com/?ref=hypebot.com) has released the "Add To Playlist" feature for anxiously awaiting [Android](http://code.google.com/android/?ref=hypebot.com) smartphone owners allowing users to add a song they've either ID'd or searched for directly to a [Spotify](http://www.spotify.com/?ref=hypebot.com) playlist. Previously, Android users had the ability to stream discovered tracks on Spotify, but can now generate playlists within the service, without ever leaving the SoundHound app. The “add to playlist” feature is currently available for Spotify users on [iOS](http://www.apple.com/ios/?ref=hypebot.com) as well as [Rdio](http://www.rdio.com/?ref=hypebot.com).**

The company looked back on 2014 and the trends of its 230+ million users, releasing the top SoundHound'ed artists of 2014.

SoundHound finished a strong year by releasing multiple upgrades to their platform and to the user experience and appears to be setting themselves up for more of the same in 2015.
