Spotify has pulled all third party advertising off its site as it attempts to find the source of an online attack on its system. A series of tweets over the last 24 hours show an escalating situation which the company is responding to. "We've turned off all 3rd party display ads that could have caused it until we find the exact one" the [@spotify](https://twitter.com/?ref=hypebot.com#!/Spotify) tweeted at about 8AM ET today. 3 hours later at 11AM came another tweet admitting that no solution had been found:

"We're still investigating but we take this very seriously and will take every step possible to ensure it doesn't occur again." Just before Noon ET the story was the same: "…our guys are on it." Users have been able to access music throughout the incident.
