Windows Phone 8 and 8.1 users are finally getting something that Android and iOS phone customers have had for a very long time – free music streaming from Spotify. Updated for Windows Phone users today, Spotify’s free mobile lets users shuffle play playlists as well as artists streams. Differentiating the app from Pandora, the launch announcement reads:

> "Want to listen to a certain artist? Just hit shuffle play, sit back and listen to their entire catalogue. Don’t settle for something similar. Don’t settle for just one track from the artist you want to hear every 20 minutes."

The new app also includes improved search, music discovery and other upgrades.
