As part of Spotify's [$10 million first-ever ad canpaign](https://www.hypebot.com/spotify-to-launch-first-ever-ad-campaign-on-nbcs-the-voice-tonight-video/), the music streamer is running a one-day “takeover” ad today on YouTube’s homepage.

The YouTube campaign follows the band Phoenix for a day via
an 18-minute documentary that will roll out in pieces throughout the day.

With new music streaming services from Apple, Google, Amazon and Beats'
MOG-becomes-'Daisy' preparing for launch, Spotify is trying gain market share ahead of its many competitors.
