I'm going to start calling it the **Facebook Music** effect. Music video platform **VEVO** is rolling out a Facebook app that included the ability to **sell albums and merchandise and collect email addresses** along with play video. This arguably puts VEVO in direc with **ReverbNation** and **RootMusic** who lead in Facebook integration.

  
**Ticketmaster** has announced expanded plans to start selling concert tickets through Facebook. Fans can share information about the gigs they are attending with friends while buying their tickets from within the Facebook interface. Studies have shown that a Like or sharing after a ticket purchase can **dramatically increase sales**.
