Today they **launched a new developing artist feature and got some good news** thatcould help TIDAL continue to sing a more resonant tune.

TIDAL went live today with **TIDAL Rising Artists**  which will highlight indie and unsigned artists. First to get the spotlight treatment is [Lili K](http://lilikmusic.com/?ref=hypebot.com), an independent neo-soul & jazz vocalist and songwriter. A half-dozen other indie artists will also get additional exposure.And after falling off the app charts, TIDAL has returned to the **Top Grossing iPhone app ranking at #4, a**fter Pandora, Spotify and Beats in the music category; and is at #27 overall, according to [App Annie](https://www.ahttps//www.appannie.com/apps/ios/top/united-states/music/?device=iphone&ref=hypebot.com).TIDAL has also added another company to its multi-player public relations and marketing team. [MWW](http://www.mww.com/?ref=hypebot.com), whose clients include Netflix, Eventbrite and Jet Blue, is now on board.
