A rumored deal that would have seen Twitter acquiring Soundcloud and again jumping into the music and audio business may already be kaput, according to multiple reports. Germany's [Das Speiga](http://www.spiegel.de/netzwelt/web/twitter-will-soundcloud-aus-berlin-nicht-uebernehmen-a-970381.html?ref=hypebot.com)l first reported that talks at ended. Then the Wall [Street Journa](http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304422704579574301592373722?mod=WSJ%5FTechWSJD%5FNeedToKnow&ref=hypebot.com)l quoted a corraboting source who added, "the numbers didn't add up."
