She will be based in Santa Monica and report to Michael Nash, UMG's Executive Vice President of Digital Strategy.

Prior to making the jump to UMG, Ruxandra did a stint as Vice President of Digital Strategy and Business Development at Warner Music Group. Based out of Warners' New York offices, she had oversight of the company's strategic partnerships and led the development of the company's digital offerings as streaming became the single largest revenue source for the label.
