# UMG Names Nicola Levy As Global Head Of Business Affairs, Digital

The latest comes in Business Affairs.

Universal Music Group has promoted Nicola Levy to Global Head of Business Affairs, Digital. In her new role, Levy will oversee a global team of business affairs executives who will help shape digital strategy and negotiate Universal Music's agreements with existing and prospective digital partners.

Levy, who is relocating to Santa Monica from London, will report to Jeff Harleston, Universal Music Group's Global General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs.

"I am immensely excited to take on this role and to be working with such a talented team," Levy said. "This is an incredibly dynamic time for the entire music industry, as our business rapidly adapts to the rising popularity of streaming and other forms of digital consumption."

For the past nine years, Levy worked in Universal Music Group's Global Digital Business division serving most recently as Head of Business Affairs, Digital, at Universal Music Group International and previously Vice President of Business Affairs. Levy earlier served as Vice President of Business Affairs for Universal Music Mobile, based in Paris, and Director of Business Affairs in London working for Universal Music Group International and the Decca Music Group.
