Is this what it has come to?

Lacking a proper Hip Hop/R&B promo team Epic shunned the indie promo and marketing community and [hired](http://www.nypost.com/seven/08122007/business/no%5Frap%5Fturf%5Fwar%5Fhere%5Fbusiness%5F.htm?ref=hypebot.com) competing hip hop label Koch to promote two new releases by Sean Kingston (*pictured at the right and currently at #1)*and Yung Berg.

Epic calls it smart outsourcing and I’m all for that. But if I were the acts I’d be making a direct deal with Koch pronto.
