Vevo has launched in Mexico, making it the 14th country for the music video streamer. Vevo already had over 500 million views on it's YouTube artist channels in Mexico last month, so a launch their makes sense, as the company works to increase its Latin American and global presence in preparation for a [possible sale](https://www.hypebot.com/vevo-owners-explore-sale-of-music-video-streamer/).

While the YouTube channels will still be active, starting today, Vevo viewers in Mexico can watch over 100,000 HD official music videos, original music programming, live concert events and broadcast-style Vevo TV on the [web, mobile/tablet and TV apps](http://vevo.com/platforms?ref=hypebot.com).

The four owners of Vevo are hiring Goldman Sachs Group to explore an estimated [$500 millon sale](https://www.hypebot.com/vevo-owners-explore-sale-of-music-video-streamer/), according to multiple sources.
