[Musicslu](http://www.musicslu.com/?ref=hypebot.com) offers an interesting new twist on fan to band financing. As this video that we found via [TechDirt](http://techdirt.com/articles/20090405/2116444400.shtml?ref=hypebot.com) shows, bands post an amount that they need and no money changes hands until the number is hit. Then after the project is finished it is released for free wrapped in a Creative Commons license that encourages spreading the music around.
