**Should Spotify and others compensate successful playlisters?** We're not talking pay to play, but rather legitimate compensation based on overall plays or audience size.

They are providing a service and it could reduce payolla. Or are we just democratizing music discovery yet again, and better served by working to keep playlisting free of money all together?
