Warner Music Group will likely sign a new deal with Spotify within weeks, sources tell [The Post](http://nypost.com/2017/05/14/warner-music-boss-nears-royalty-deal-with-spotify/?ref=hypebot.com). Universal and indie representative Merlin have already signed with the #1 music streamer.

Sony, however, has reportedly not yet seriously come to the table for talks. That may be because Rob Stringer just took over as boss of the globe's #2 music group and has had his [hands rather busy](https://www.hypebot.com/sony-confirms-la-reids-exit-in-6-terse-words-as-multiple-sexual-harassment-claims-emerge/) with changes in the executive suite.
