In May 2005, the **YouTube** founders launched YouTube.com and today they released their most impressive stats yet. As of now, more than 48 hours (two days worth) of videos are uploaded to the site **every minute**, a 37% increase over the last six months and 100% over last year. YouTube's current **3 top projects**:

- faster processing of uploads
- longer video lengths
- the launch of self-service live stream capabilities to partners
