Starbucks To Close 600 Stores

On the heels of an announcement that Starbucks is cutting back on music for sale in stores to a mere 4 CD's, comes word that they are closing about 600 underperforming company-operated stores in the U.S. including 100 targeted in a previous announcement. Starbucks also expects to open fewer than 200 new U.S. stores in fiscal 2009. (more)
