Bandwidth Recap

Bandwidth2008 Day 1: Youthful Perspectives

Day 2:

Trifomic Our Bandwidth coverage came from Hypebot's man in San Francisco, Laurence Trifon who is one half of the San Francisco based electronic music group Trifonic. The duo got their start licensing tracks for TV and doing remixes. They were the top vote getter in WIRED Magazine's 2005 Freestyle remix contest, and their music has appeared in advertisements and shows like CSI...

Trifonic released their debut album Emergence in February 2008, which features cinematic instrumental tracks and vocal collaborations with Amelia June and Nonesuch Records' Christina Courtin. Their track "Parks On Fire" appears on Hybrid's compilation album Soundsystem 01 (Nettwerk, 2008). Trifonic's other member -- Laurence's brother, Brian -- formerly worked as a guitarist/programmer for electronic artist BT and has composed music for several Hollywood films, video games, and TV shows.

You can download the song "Lies" (feat. Amelia June) from Emergence here. To learn more about Trifonic and hear more music, please visit them at their web site or on MySpace.
