Muxtape Shut Down By RIAA
The front page of the popular online mix tape service Muxtape began carrying only this message yesterday:
Muxtape will be unavailable for a
brief period while we sort out a
problem with the RIAA.
No details are being provided as to the nature of the disagreement, though a Muxtape Tumblr blog post shared:
No artists or labels have complained. The site is not closed indefinitely. Stay tuned.
Beta users of Muxtape For Bands: you are unaffected by this outage.
More details as they become available.
Hadn't been to the site, but read enough about it to wonder when the RIAA was gonna come knocking.
