AOL To Relaunch Shoutcast

AolNext week AOL will be relaunching SHOUTcast.com, a global repository of online stations with a daily worldwide audience of over 500,000. Upgrades included improved search, new user feedback options and increased monetization. The re-launch is the first step in an ongoing process rolling out more robust broadcaster tools and APIs to provide for 3rd party developers.

New features include a search toolbar, Facebook application, SHOUTcast blog, new skins, and a widget that can be integrated across several social networking groups including Bebo. Greater integration with sister product WinAmp and other media players is also part of the upgrade.
