Musicane Sales Widgets Add Sony And EMI

In another example of ongoing efforts by record labels to find alternatives to iTunes and reach consumers wherever that might buy music, Sony and EMI have both signed on to sell via Musicane

In addition to an online store that encourages music discovery and recommendation,  Musicane offers sales widgets that can be embedded on MySpace, Facebook, blogs, etc.  5% of the sale is returned to the person installing the widget. A system to enable unaffiliated artists to sell via Musicane is in development.
