Songbird Player Adds 7Digital Integration

MP3 download store 7digital.com is now integrated within the open source Songbird media player. Much like iTunes has its own fully integrated player software, Songbird users in the US and Europe can purchase and download directly from 7digital's 6 million track catalog to their computer or MTP portable devices from Sony, Philips, Sansa, Samsung and others.

Songbird is gaining popularity with robust features like Last.fm scrobbling and integrated artist news and concert info. When a track or album is downloaded from 7digital.com in Songbird, it is automatically downloaded into the user’s Songbird library.  Users can click the 7digital Music Store link in Songbird’s left-hand menu to access the store and purchase tracks without leaving the application.
