MTV and OurStage.com have formed an ongoing partnership to expose emerging artists. In the first joint venture, musicians in top U.S. markets have been participating in OurStage hosted efforts this summer and receiving exposure through the mtvU Six Flags VMA Tour and the MTV Video Music Awards.
MTV and OurStage will also develop online co-promotions that combine fan enthusiasm with music discovery and the mass audience of MTV and its related networks - MTV2, mtvU, MTV Tr3s. Additionally, OurStage becomes an additional tool for MTV's music supervision team when sourcing new music for on-air inclusion.
