A new section of iTunes dedicated to live recordings will offer exclusive recorded and filmed concerts from Live Nation's network of wired concert venues.

Exclusive live recordings from OK Go, Jesse McCartney, Saving Abel, A Fine Frenzy, Duffy, Plain White T's and Ziggy Marley and others have been released this week, with more to follow.

Live Nation, through its Studios division, regularly records concerts in more than 80 of its wired  venues. The goal is to extend the live concert experience and Live Nation's brand beyond the show itself. Along the way, both artists and labels, as well as, of course Live Nation can profit from the new revenue stream

"We are thrilled to offer artists a new high-quality platform to share
the magic of their live shows with their fans," said Michael Rapino,
President and Chief Executive Officer of Live Nation.
