Your Music Wanted: Twestival Tracks For Charity

Moby, Ryan Adams, JET and more than 250 other artists have donated tracks to the Twestival-fm.com SoundCloud-powered global music showcase to raise money via Twitter for Concern Worldwide. Now your band and artists that you’re involved with can too.

image from www.concern.net All artists are being encouraged to upload tracks to the Twestival-fm website via SoundCloud, where all the donated tracks will be showcased on a global map, and made streamable through a SoundCloud-powered player. Links to each track are automatically tweeted to the artists’ followers, inspiring others to check out the music and donate. 100% of proceeds go to Concern Worldwide and every dollar raised will be doubled by the Twestival organizers.

Twestival.fm is part of Twestival 2010, which will highlight eight areas preventing the globe’s poorest youth from getting an education. Twestival events in cities and schools around the world will be selecting one of these areas to give particular awareness and fundraising focus to. Twestival events will take place in over 200 cities around the world today, March 25th.
