TuneUp Adds Windows Media Player Support & Social Features
TuneUp, a really useful app that cleans up digital music libraries "automagically" today added support for Windows Media Player (WMP). New features also connect the users’ music with Facebook and Twitter. TuneUp for WMP is available download now and the new social features are available to all users.
Launched with support for iTunes only, TuneUp recently passed 1 million registered users and has cleaned more than 850 million individual tracks, processing 5 million songs a day. By utilizing Gracenote's database of 90M+ tracks, the application identifies songs through a multi-step recognition method that enables one click categorization, and organization of digital music to fill in missing data and artwork throughout the user’s music library.
