I Came To Dance… The Hypebot Hit Song Contest

I Entered The Contest 'Cause That's My Plans, Plans. (Song.)

image from static.stuff.co.nzWhile it’s entirely possible that if you win the Hypebot Hit Song Contest—which has a new deadline of September 7th and is now being judged Bruce and I, as well as guest judges within our sponsor base—that you will become uber famous and legions of fans will be screaming your name; I can’t promise you anything.

I mean I can promise you some sweet prizes and some very insightful advice into how to better your career, but the rest would be a little presumptuous of me.  I mean, you don’t really want to be the next Ke$ha or Lady Gaga—do you?

This is a hit song contest, not a hit song promise.

As awesomely awful I think the lyrics in the competition are and how infectiously catchy some of the entries have been; it’s quite likely that Ryan Seacrest still won’t be naming your song on his next crappy radio show.  All is not lost though.

In last few weeks, there have been some amazing entries in the contest—one in particular with its little bit of twang, that made my day. Here’s a the latest entries:

Love Gonna Stop by mattodowd

Had Enough Tonight by Triangle Exception

Rock Your Hypebot by Tom Harling

Break the Love by NITB

Thank you everyone who has taken
their time to participate in the fun.
