Top Hip-Hop Agent Cara Lewis Jumps To CAA

Yesterday influential agent Cara Lewis shifted sides and landed at Creative Artists Agency, where she will join Rob Light's team. She will continue to be based in New York. Lewis, left William Morris Endeavor last month after a 23-year stint, where she rose to SVP. While at WME, Lewis worked with some of the top names in Hip-Hop, including Eminem, Kanye West, 50 Cent and Rihanna.


"Cara has built a remarkable career cultivating the careers of some of the most acclaimed artists in music today," said Rob Light, CAA’s head of music and managing partner. "Her expertise of the urban market, ability to innovate, and keen eye for talent will be great assets to our continued growth."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, most of Lewis' artists will make the transition with her, including Eminem. However, THR reported that Kanye will not be making the jump and will remain at William Morris. via CelebrityAccess
