TechCrunch will be holding
their yearly Disrupt event in San Francisco next week, bringing together
top entrepreneurs, investors and hackers for in depth interviews and panels,
product demos, and the launch of brand new startups. Among a slew of highly
notable speakers and presenters from all over the tech world, Facebook
mastermind Mark Zuckerberg is slated
to participate in his first interview
since the company’s IPO.
Many will expect Zuckerberg to discuss the company's future, especially after its stock value plummeted much to the dismay of investors. Or, he may keep it more causal and lightly dance around the topic. Either way, the halls of The Concourse at the San Francisco Design center will surely be packed and on every word of the young tech billionaire.
Other Disrupt speakers include Biz Stone (co-founder of Twitter), David Sacks (founder and CEO of Yammer), Alison Moore (SVP of Digital Products at HBO), Marissa Mayer (CEO of Yahoo), Leah Busque (founder of TaskRabbit.com) and actress Jessica Alba.
The event begins with a hackathon Saturday September 8th, with panels beginning Monday the 10th and lasting until Wednesday the 12th (full agenda here).
Hypebot’s Hisham Dahud will be on the scene to conduct live tweets from the event, so be sure to follow @Hypebot to be looped in.
