Daft Punk's New Album, Single Set Spotify Records With 27 Million Streams

image from it's release last Monday, 20th May, Daft Punk’s album ’Random Access Memories’  has already set a number of records on Spotify including the single ‘Get Lucky’ being streamed over 27 million times.  If trends hold, ‘Random Access Memories’ will top Mumford & Son's ‘Babel’ as the most streamed album ever in the week of release for the US.   • ‘Random Access Memories’ is on track to have the biggest first week for an album in Spotify history.
  • The album has set the record for the most streamed first day of an album ever in the US, UK, France, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Germany, the   Netherlands, Hong Kong, Singapore and Mexico
  •  As an artist, Daft Punk set a record for one day streams during the first week of ‘Random Access Memories’
