Breaking Bad Was Very, Very Good For Badfinger’s “Baby Blue”

jumped +2981% over last week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.  In the last few hours of
Sunday night, the song was purchased 5300 times, compared to 200 the week
prior. According to Nielsen BDS data, spins at all monitored U.S. terrestrial radio stations of "Baby Blue" increased +1175% on Monday (over last Monday). Other Badfinger
song lifts include:

    +78%
  • Come and Get
    It: +81%
  • Without You: +260%

Total
digital "Baby Blue" song sales increased 656%  (week ending 9/22, total digital song
sales = 900 / week ending 9/29, total digital song sales = 6,800).  

For
Rhapsody, Slacker, Spotify, AOL Radio, VidZone, Rdio and Xbox Music (the
streamers who have reported for Monday so far), U.S. streams of “Baby Blue”
increased more than +20,000% (44,000 streams on Monday 9/30 vs 200 streams on
Sunday 9/29).
