Popular streaming music app Songza has taken home the 2014 Appy Award for music. The APPY Awards, part of Internet Week New York, honor applications on all platforms and is dedicated to acknowledging creativity and excellence in app design.
Finalists in the category also included live music recording and sales app Lively and Music Matermind's Zya which allows fans to lay down rudimentary tracks (beats, hooks and vocals) and mash together existing hits.
