Mobile and social application publisher Cellfish Media is rebranding as the Bandsintown Group. With the popular BandsInTown app already its flagship product, the move reflects the company’s three year effort to strengthen its position in the live music and event industries. The renamed company will be headed by founders CEO Fabrice Sergent and President and COO Julien Mitelberg in New York with offices in San Diego, Montreal and Manhasset.
In addtion to the Bandsintown app, Bandsintown Group operates offshoots Bandsintown Manager, which helps touring artists display and post their tour dates and information across the web and on social networks; Bandsintown for Promoters which enables brand advertisers and promoters to reach concert-goers in key markets and Bandsintown Amplified, formerly known as ToneMedia, an ad platform built on music data that the Company acquired in 2013.
