Direct to fan platform PledgeMusic has named music industry veteran Dominic Pandiscia as Chief Executive Officer. The popular face of the company, Benji Rogers will continue on the Board of Directors and serve in the newly created position of Chief Strategy Officer, where he will "lead innovation and outreach to the creative community."

Pandiscia had previously served as President of Caroline, Capitol Music Group's independent services division, where he led the company to three straight years of record market share growth including #1 album debuts by the Alabama Shakes, All Time Low, Five Finger Death Punch and Tyrese.

The shift in leadership follows a major investment from Magna Entertainment and PledgeMusic's acquisition of two significant players in the direct to fan sector, Noisetrade and Set.fm. These combined companies boast a community of 50,000 musicians and 3 million active superfans. Pandiscia is tasked with driving further expansion.

"PledgeMusic holds a truly unique position in the increasingly crowded digital music landscape and I feel privileged to take the helm for its next chapter," noted Pandiscia. "Our user base was radically expanded with the recent acquisitions of NoiseTrade and Set.fm and we look forward to further empowering artists to attract passionate new audiences while deepening the relationship with their current fan base.
