For weeks now, Spotify users have fallen prey to a major bug in its desktop application across multiple platforms that left 10-700 gigabytes and more of junk data every hour on the unsuspecting user's hard drive. Now a promised fix has been released.
Spotify has released desktop app version 10.42.151, which the music streamer says fixes a major bug that was leaving many gigabytes of junk data on unsuspecting users' hard drives.
Depending on your settings, you may need to download it manually. Go to Help / About Spotify to download the fix.
