Vevo, YouTube Hacked, Top Music Videos Affected

YOuTube NO[UPDATED] Vevo and perhaps YouTube itself were hacked early on Thursday, leaving "Despacito" and many other top music videos delisted or unplayable and replaced by messages from the hackers.

Affected were some versions of the #1 music video of all time, "Despacito" ft. Daddy Yankee, as well as, videos by Taylor Swift, Adele, Drake, Shakira, Selena Gomez and others.

Vevo's main "Despacito" video had been removed by the hackers, and its cover image replaced with a group wearing masks, red jumpsuits and pointing guns.

The hackers, who identified themselves as Prosox and Kuroi'sh, wrote"Free Palestine" underneath many of the the videos. Kuroi'sh is the same hacker who hacked the @nowthisnews and @bbcarabicalerts Twitter accounts last week, according to Hacker News.

Thus far, Vevo and YouTube have not commented on the overnight hacks.
