Top Twitch Gamers Suspended Over Copyrighted Music

TwitchAt least 10 popular Twitch gamers have been kicked off  the Twitch streaming platform for 24 hours affter allegingedly  playing copyrighted music during their streams, and all of the complaints appear to come from a single source.

Gaming streamers xQc, Sinatraa, Daequan, Alfie, Avxry, KittyPlays, Pokelawls, Sneaky, Castro1021, Nico, Symfuhny, and Solluminati all reported 24-hour suspensions from Twitch following takedown notices from the  International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).  Many of the violations have been tied to a song by rapper Juice Wrld, according to Kotaku.com.

This smackdown is likely to be the first of many, since most gamers play music in the background without authorization during play.  It's a problem that Amazon owned Twitch could solve by cutting deals with rightsholders.
