image from scontent-iad3-1.cdninstagram.comBy extending the length of videos from 1 minute to ten, and for some users to an hour, and the launch of its ITV video hub, Instagram hoped to unleash the kind of creativity that attracts and retains users.  Jaden Smith just used it to exclusively release a new EP.Celebrating his 20th birthday, Jaden Smith's five track release ‘Syre: The Electric Album’ is – for now at least – available free and exclusively on Instagram.  The EP is made  up of  "electric” versions of five tracks from last year’s ‘Syre’ album. Here is  ‘B (Electric)’, one the reimagined tracks.


More Music On InstagramSmith appears to be the first to release an EP or album on Instagram, but Former One Direction star Zayn Malik  has been releasing covers there. Here is Malick doing Beyonce’s ‘Me, Myself And I’ which he says is a "teaser" to a new album.
